Wild Palms
Wild Palms is a five-hour miniseries created by Greengrass Productions that premiered on the ABC network in May 1993. The "event series" sci-fi drama examines the perils of politically motivated abuse of mass media technologies, particularly virtual worlds. It was based on a Bruce Wagner and Julian Allen comic strip that initially appeared in Details magazine in 1990. Wagner worked as executive producer alongside Oliver Stone, who co-wrote the screenplay. James Belushi, Dana Delany, Robert Loggia, Kim Cattrall, and Angie Dickinson are among the cast members of the series. Kathryn Bigelow, Keith Gordon, Peter Hewitt, and Phil Joanou were among the directors that worked on the episodes.
