The day when little John Clayton's parents died and abandoned him in the African bush twenty years ago, he was reared by apes and has emerged as the courageous character known as Tarzan. Tarzan is taken captive by his strong uncle, Richard Clayton, who is the billionaire CEO of Greystoke Industries. Richard Clayton then forces Tarzan to go back to his family's residence in New York City, despite the fact that Tarzan does not want to go there. After putting up a fight against being held captive, he manages to flee into the concrete jungle that is New York City. There, he comes into contact with the independent-minded NYPD detective Jane Porter. Jane's existence, which had been so well planned out, is thrown into disarray as a result of Tarzan's recklessness and his fundamental lack of corruption in moral judgment. Due to the fact that she is in a romantic relationship with another officer on the force, Detective Michael Foster, Jane is forced to make a decision between following her mind and her heart, reason and instinct, civilization and basic humanity.
