Tarzan
Tarzan was an American television series that ran from 1966 to 1968 on NBC. Tarzan was portrayed as a well-educated guy who had returned to the jungle where he had been nurtured after becoming dissatisfied with civilisation. As part of producer Sy Weintraub's "new image" for the famous apeman that he had created in prior motion pictures starring Gordon Scott, Jock Mahoney, and Mike Henry, the show kept many of the trappings of the original movie series, like Cheeta, while eliminating others, such as Jane. During the summer of1969, CBS broadcasted reruns of the show.
