Frontier

Frontier is an American Western anthology series that aired on NBC from September 1955 to September 1956. The series emphasizes the dangers of settling the American West rather than gunplay. It was only the second anthology Western series in television history, following Death Valley Days. Frontier first aired on September 25, 1955, and lasted intermittently for the next five months. Walter Coy narrated the show and appeared in a few episodes that were dramatizations of true events. Worthington Miner produced the show.
