Even Stevens is an American comedy television series that ran for three seasons and 65 episodes on Disney Channel from June 17, 2000 to June 17, 2003. It covers the life of the Stevens, a suburban Sacramento, California family, with particular emphasis on the conflicting personalities of Ren and Louis, the two youngest children. Brookwell McNamara Entertainment produced the television series. It is frequently credited with launching Shia LaBeouf's career as an actor. In each episode, the program also incorporates fast-motion photography. The Even Stevens Movie, a feature-length Disney Channel Original Movie based on the series, premiered on June 13, 2003 and served as the series conclusion. The show is no longer airing, although The Even Stevens Movie continues to air sometimes on Disney Channel and Family Channel. From 2009 until 2012, Even Stevens broadcast on CITV in the United Kingdom, after having previously aired on CBBC. From its debut in 2009 until early 2010, Disney XD aired reruns of the series.
