Sweeney!
Based upon the television series the film complies with DI Regan and DS Carter as they became embroiled in a fatal political scandal. Among the leading participants of the federal government, Charles Baker (Ian Bannen) is about to secure a huge handle OPEC stabilising the world oil market and enhancing Britain's position within it. Baker is the rising celebrity of government, regarded a future head of state, that is closely managed by his urbane, manipulative American press secretary Elliot McQueen (Barry Foster). When Regan examines the mystical fatality of a woman of the street as a favour to among his sources, he becomes aware that Baker and McQueen may be entailed. A wave of killings follow - which sees Regan tackle both the crooks and also the power structure of the Metropolitan Authorities and also British protection services.
