Resisting Roots
Genevieve Harper makes the most of the opportunity to care for her two younger brothers after the horrible disaster that befell their parents. At the young age of 24, Viv has already sacrificed her own hopes and goals in order to give her family the greatest life she can possibly provide for them. When Viv's coworker, Trent Fox, a well-known baseball star both on and off the field, comes to Viv's place of employment, the Lotus House Yoga Center, to recover from an injury, the two of them are immediately drawn to each other. But Viv just does not have the time to invest in a relationship with a man, much less one that would only end in heartbreak.
