Passion
Maja Borg, who exited a toxic relationship, investigates Christianity and BDSM. At first appearance, religion and subculture seem worlds apart, but their healing potential may be similar. Borg explores the European LGBT scene and the Christian tradition of northern Europe to uncover her own center. Passion and suffering are two sides of the same complex case in 'Passion,' which fuses literary and cinematic traditions into a ceremonial whole. But the abstractions provide the film's meetings human dimension, when Borg is challenged body and soul. Maybe it's this humanity that ties theology and BDSM on an emotional and spiritual level.
