On the streets of Manhattan, Marcus is a little boy who doesn't have a lot of money. Because his father died and his mother is in prison for smuggling undocumented immigrants. He's now 15. In his grandmother is taking care of him. He has four close friends who have a basement clubhouse. They shoplift and sell the goods to kids, then give the money back. There are some people who want to sell drugs in the near future. The city is too much for Marcus. He wants to take a break and visit his family in New Mexico. Meet Melena, 14, who is sweet and wants to go to Alaska. Her father is angry and doesn't talk to her. It's hard for Marcus to keep up with the gang, but they want him to start burglary and car theft. Because he just wants to breathe the fresh air. Any good things could happen?
