The narrative of the Polish pilots who found themselves battling for the freedom of their own country in foreign skies. Through the eyes of a Polish fighter ace and adventurer, it describes how the Poles, driven across Europe by the German war machine, finally make their last stand. They contributed significantly to the legend of 'The Few' by flying Hurricanes for the RAF over Great Britain. In the face of the Luftwaffe's power, they felt that by preventing the Nazi invasion of Great Britain, they were preserving the hope for a free Poland.
