Bizarre
Maurice, a reclusive young homeless man, ekes out an existence in Brooklyn by sleeping in parked cars until he stumbles onto Bizarre, an underground club famed for its burlesque performances. Maurice is enchanted by the club's lighthearted revues honoring self-determined sexuality and creative otherness, and both of the club's female proprietors adore him. He quickly becomes a member of their self-selected family and develops an affinity for introverted Luka. Maurice, on the other hand, ignores Luka's growing fondness. He wanders aimlessly through the city, evading his genuine emotions. He is attempting to re-establish himself in a boxing club, when he meets Charlie. Maurice, unable to endure the burden of his suppressed emotions, ignites a flurry of emotions tinged with compassion and threat.
