A Hanna-Barbera-produced animated sitcom, The Jetsons, aired in primetime from 1962 to 1963, then as part of a weekday/weekend morning programming block dubbed The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera, from 1987 to 1988, From 1984-1987, there were also new episodes. In the same vein as The Flintstones, it was Hanna-space-age Barbera's counterpart. On Boomerang, there are a lot of reruns. Jetsons live in a futuristic utopia of complex robots, aliens, and holograms powered by birds and dinosaurs.
