Pagan Peak
When a gruesomely staged body is found on a mountain pass in the Alps near the border between Germany and Austria, two detectives are sent to find out what happened. This is the first real challenge of Ellie's career as a German detective. Gedeon, on the other hand, seems to have lost interest in his job. Soon, they find more crime scenes where the victims are posed in ways that look like pagan rituals. All of this seems to be part of a larger, more dangerous plan. Ellie is under more and more pressure to figure out what the crazy killer wants so she can stop him. The hunt takes them deeper and deeper into the dark valleys and old Alpine ways, as well as the killer's paranoid world.
