Production company Pilot Productions helms the television series Globe Trekker, which focuses on ecotourism and adventure travel. The Lonely Planet guidebooks served as inspiration for the British series, which premiered in 1994 on ITV. Globe Trekker is available in more than 40 countries and six continents.
