The narrative of a guy who became a neurosurgeon despite his desire to be a chef, and the story of a woman who became a chef as a result of his influence. The neurosurgeon Lee Kang once dreamed of becoming a cook, but his dreams were dashed. Moon Cha Young met Lee Kang when he was a boy in a little diner in the seashore town where they both grew up. Lee Kang cooked for her and served her a meal, which in part encouraged her to pursue a career as a world-renowned chef. The two re-connect in a hospice ward many years later, and they work together to heal their own personal scars by preparing meals for the patients in the facility.
