Godzilla 1985
Originally titled "The Return of Godzilla" in Japan in 1984, this is the drastically altered and re-titled "Godzilla 1985." By including new footage of Raymond Burr, this sixteenth Godzilla film disregards all previous sequels and serves as a straight sequel to 1956's "Godzilla King of the Monsters," which also included scenes with Burr edited into 1954's "Godzilla." This film faithfully recreates the original's harsher tone, as we watch the nuclear devastation of a massive lizard menacing Japan.
