Rachel, a rowdy child from a polygamist settlement in southern Utah, is the protagonist in ELECTRICK CHILD. Rachel finds a banned cassette tape on her 15th birthday. Rachel plays the cassette tape, having never seen anything like it before, and discovers wonderful rock and roll. Rachel discovers a miracle has occurred some weeks later, and the cassette recording must have had a role. She abandons her family and flees to Las Vegas, which is the nearest city. She looks through the cassette tape for the band's lead singer. She embarks on an exciting journey and eventually realizes who she is: an ELECTRICK CHILD.
