Xiaolin Showdown

Christy Hui produced the American animated television series Xiaolin Showdown, which aired on Kids WB. The series follows four young warriors in training as they face the forces of evil in a world where martial arts battles and Eastern mysticism are widespread. They accomplish this by defending Shen Gong Wu against villains seeking to exploit them to rule the world. The series premiered on the WB Network's Kids' WB block in 2003 and lasted three seasons and 52 episodes. Typical episodes focus around the revelation of a specific Shen Gong Wu, which culminates in both sides racing to find it. The episodes usually come to a climax when one good and one evil character must compete in a magical duel known as a Xiaolin Showdown for custody of the relic. On Disney XD on August 26, 2013, a sequel series titled Xiaolin Chronicles was previewed. On September 14, the same year, it began its long-term run.
