Worst Week is an American television series that ran on CBS from September22, 2008 to June6, 2009. The sitcom The Worst Week of My Life was the inspiration for the series. The show was adapted for American audiences by Fox under the title Worst Week of My Life, but a series never materialized after the pilot was produced. The show aired on CBS Mondays at 9:30pm ET/PT, following Two and a Half Men. The debut drew 11 million people but lost a third of its lead-in viewership. With the sixth episode, ratings fell to a low of 8.4 million people before progressively increasing. They peaked at 12.12 million viewers with the eleventh episode before declining. On February 16, 2009, the season finale, "The Epidural," aired. The series is now airing on RTÉ Two on Sundays at 3:40 a.m. in Ireland. CBS revealed their new season schedule on May 20, 2009, and canceled Worst Week. On June6,2009, a previously unseen episode titled "The Party" aired. The setting for Worst Week is Manassas, Virginia.
