Rebecca Gibney, who starred in the critically acclaimed television movie The Killing Field in2014, is set to reprise her role as Detective Sergeant Eve Winter in the upcoming series Winter on Seven. The character of Detective Inspector Lachlan McKenzie will be played once again by Peter O'Brien. The first episode of the new series will air on Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at 9:00 p.m. ET. As the new season begins, Eve Winter and the rest of her task force are tasked with solving the chilling murder of a 23-year-old mother named Karly in a hauntingly beautiful fishing town located south of Sydney.
