Vixen
Mari McGabe's parents, originally from Africa, were slaughtered by local greed, corruption, and savagery. Marl, on the other hand, is a survivor who refuses to give in to the horrors that surround her. Because of the Tantu Totem she inherited from her ancestors, Mari has the ability to channel the strength and speed of various animals. Her family was killed by a menace similar to what Vixen tries to protect the globe from.
