Undateable

Everyone has a time in their lives when they're not dateable, whether it's because they have no style, the wrong job, or even a bad haircut. Most of us grow out of it, but some people need a little more help than others. Enter Danny Burton. Danny, who is 29 and seems to have stopped growing up, is confident, attractive, and doesn't care what other people think. He decides to help his new roommate, Justin Kearney, the owner of a failing bar and a chronic overthinker, and his friends Shelly, Burski, and Brett. Danny introduces the gang to his older sister Leslie, who just got divorced. Leslie feels like she has a lot in common with this group of guys because she is also stuck in her own life. Most of the time, the group hangs out at Justin's bar, where they drink beers and help each other solve their problems. They like to pick on each other, but they always have each other's backs. Brief Synopsis: Danny Burton is in his 30s and has been single for a while. Most of his friends have moved on to serious relationships while he has been having fun. When Danny's last roommate, Shannon, leaves to get married, he looks for a new roommate. Justin, the owner of Black Eyes Bar in Detroit, is a good candidate (frequently mispronounced "Black Guys Bar"). All of Justin's friends, like the nerdy Burski, the weird Shelly, and the gay Brett, who just came out of the closet, have traits that make them seem "undateable." Danny is good at getting women to sleep with him, but he can't or won't make a long-term commitment to any of them. Leslie, Danny's pretty sister, worries about not being able to find a date because she is divorced in her mid-30s.
