The Secret World of Alex Mack is an American television series that aired on Nickelodeon from the 8th of October, 1994 all the way through the 15th of January, 1998. It was the show that took Clarissa Explains It All's place in the SNICK lineup. Additionally, it was broadcast on YTV in Canada and NHK in Japan. Additionally, it was a popular feature in the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's children's weekday line-up for a good portion of the middle to late 1990s. The N showed some repeats of the series in 2003, although it did not air for very long before it was replaced. The television show was produced by Thomas Lynch and John Lynch of Lynch Entertainment; it was also produced by RHI Entertainment, Hallmark Entertainment, and Nickelodeon Productions; and Tom Lynch and Ken Lipman were the co-creators of the show. Because it was distributed on home video under the Hallmark Home Entertainment label, it holds the distinction of being the very first Nickelodeon program that was not distributed by either Paramount Home Video or Sony Wonder.
