The Queen
The Queen was a British drama-documentary released in 2009 that followed Queen Elizabeth II throughout her life. The Queen was represented by a different actress in each program, which aired on Channel 4 over five evenings beginning November29, 2009. Emilia Fox, Samantha Bond, Susan Jameson, Barbara Flynn, and Diana Quick played Queen Elizabeth II. Lesley Manville portrayed Margaret Thatcher in the third episode, while Katie McGrath portrayed Princess Margaret in the first. The American Broadcasting Company, which aired the series in the United States, contributed to the series' funding. Emilia Fox and Katie McGrath, who had previously starred as sisters in BBC One's Merlin, were reunite chevaliers in this film.
