The Match
The Match is a Sky One reality show in which a group of celebrities join a football team to battle against a squad of former professional football players. The show starts with a large group of celebrities who practice and live together in the hopes of being chosen for "The Match" versus the legends' team. The show was also broadcast on SF 2 in Switzerland in 2006 and 2008. Three installments of the program were broadcast in the United Kingdom: one in early2004, one in late2005, and one in October 2006. Mark Durden-Smith, Ulrika Jonsson, and Zo Ball are the hosts of the program. Newcastle's St James' Park hosts the matches. The games were played at Espenmoos in St. Gallen and Allmend Stadion in Lucerne in the Swiss version.
