The Good Wife
As a former lawyer who decided to become a housewife and mother, Kyoko Hasumi (Takako Tokiwa) is the protagonist of the film. A top-notch prosecutor is her husband's occupation. Corruption charges against him led to his detention as head of a special investigation unit at the Tokyo District Prosecutor's Office. Also mentioned is a relationship with a second woman. As a "nice wife," Kyoko Hasumi's life begins to change. She decides to go back to work as a lawyer in order to keep her children safe. For the first time in 16 years, she begins working as a lawyer in a legal firm.
