The Alaskans

The Alaskans is a western TV show that aired on ABC and Warner Brothers from 1959 to 1960. It is set in the late 1890s in the port of Skagway, Alaska. Roger Moore plays "Silky Harris," and Jeff York plays "Reno McKee," two adventurers who want to trick people going to the Yukon Territories at the height of the Klondike Gold Rush. Their plans will always be messed up by the presence of singer "Rocky Shaw," who is "an entertainer with a taste for the finer things in life." The show was the first regular job that British actor Roger Moore had on American TV.
