The Affair

After Noah Solloway and Alison Lockhart meet in the vacation town of Montauk on Long Island, the plot of the drama titled "The Affair" is on the emotional fallout that results from the extramarital affair that they have. Noah is a schoolteacher in New York City. He has already had one of his novels published (it's called "A Person who Visits a Place"), but he's having trouble writing the second one. He is resentful of his dependency on his wife's wealthy father-in-law despite the fact that he is happily married and the father of four children. Alison, a young waitress, is struggling to put her life and marriage back together after the untimely passing of her kid in the wake of the tragedy. The male and female views, each with their own different memory biases, are used to tell the story of the affair in a manner that is distinct from one another.
