Caitlin "Cat" Sullivan is a New York City Police Department investigator based in Brooklyn. After her driving credentials are revoked, she relies on Leo Romba, a very talented Brooklyn cab driver from France. Cat hires Leo as her driver and consultant on her cases. While working with Leo to solve crimes, Cat is also conducting her own illegal inquiry into the death of her father, an NYPD detective alleged to have been murdered by the Capella criminal family. In doing so, she conflicts with her employer, Captain Baker, and her ex-husband Gregg, who has taken over the investigation for the FBI.
