Tatau
Tatau follows two London pals in their twenties, Kyle and Budgie, as they explore the world. Kyle gets a tattoo in the Maori style to commemorate their eventual destination: the Cook Islands. Kyle discovers the dead body of a local girl, Aumea, while scuba diving in a lagoon. Kyle returns to the lagoon with the cops and discovers that her body has vanished. But Kyle is aware of what he saw. Kyle and Budgie, desperate to discover what occurred, are dragged farther and deeper into a world of Maori stories, symbols, and hallucinatory visions... until the true significance of Kyle's tattoo is revealed.
