Spin City
Spin Metropolis is an intelligent, sophisticated sitcom about the inner workings of City Hall in the largest city in the United States. Workaholic Mike Flaherty is the Deputy Mayor of New York City, working as the chief strategist and much-needed handler for Mayor Randall Winston. Mike manages the city with the assistance of his eccentric team: a nervous and insecure press secretary; a chauvinist and obnoxious chief of staff; an immaculately groomed gay activist in charge of minority issues; a bright and efficient, man-crazy accountant; and an idealistic young speechwriter. All of them, like Mike, are professionally competent but personally challenged.
