Secret Lives
Salatut elämät is a 1999 Finnish TV series on MTV3. It was Finland's first and only daily soap. In 14 years, almost 2,500 episodes have aired. On 17 August2009, it was reported that Salatut elämät will air until spring2015, making it the second longest-running drama series in Finland, after Kotikatu on Yle TV1. The series follows various families in the same Helsinki residential tower. This series focuses on Pihlajakatu and its neighbors. Only three of the initial twenty characters, Seppo, Ismo, and Kalle, survive, while most current characters debuted in 2008 or later. Weekend replays air on MTV3. The station airs reruns in the summer; in2011, episodes from 2006–2007 and 2007–2008 were shown. Four web spin-offs have been made: Romeo & Rafael Desperados(2008), Lillukanvarsia(2010), Tuuliranta(2011), and "Young guy cash man" (2013).
