Sky Arts' Playhouse Presents is a series of self-contained TV plays. The show premiered on Sky Arts 1 on April12, 2012. Each episode features a new cast and is written by a different writer. In December2012, the strand also aired a four-part dramatization of A Country Doctor's Notebook. Sky Arts has ordered a five-part spin-off of Nixon's The One, the third piece. They believe the whole cast, including Harry Shearer as Nixon and Henry Goodman as Kissinger, will return for the series, which will begin filming in September 2012. The series will premiere in 2013. Kathy Burke, Frances Barber, Julia Davis, Idris Elba, Anna Friel, Rebecca Front, Stephen Graham, David Harewood, Ian Hart, Sharon Horgan, Mathew Horne, Suranne Jones, Kylie Minogue, Vanessa Redgrave, Peter Serafinowicz, Matt Smith, Johnny Vegas, Marc Warren, Jack Whitehall, and Reggie Yates starred in the second series, which premiered in April 2013.
