Mizuho Suga (Tsubasa Honda) discovers that her former high school classmate Haruka Origuchi (Erina Mizuno) passed away due to an illness. Mizuho encounters another former high school classmate, Hikaru Narumi, at her burial (Yuma Nakayama). In high school, Hikaru Narumi was renowned for his reputation as a playboy. Mizuho and Hikaru Narumi had a particular friendship as well. Hikaru was outgoing, but Mizuho struggled to establish new acquaintances. They once shared a school kiss and went on a daylong vacation excursion together. They were neither friends nor lovers, and they hid their relationship. Haruka Origuchi's mother attempts to communicate with Mizuho, believing her to be her daughter's best friend. The mother of Haruka inquires about Haruka's boyfriend. Haruka was previously pregnant with her boyfriend.
