Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom

Assassinations are a common occurrence on the streets of America, where the Mafia is rife. "Phantom," Inferno's nearly invulnerable human weapon, is the driving force behind the majority of these transactions. A Japanese visitor witnesses Phantom's most recent murder by mistake one day. Desperate to flee, the visitor seeks refuge in an isolated building. Phantom, who is revealed to be a young lady named Ein, and the commander of Inferno, "Scythe Master," abduct and brainwash the visitor. This once-peaceful visitor has been given the moniker "Zwei" and is now a memoryless puppet of Inferno. Zwei must fight to survive after being sucked into a world of lies, deceit, and brutality, with the intention of recovering his memories and escaping this world where he is perpetually on the verge of death.
