The American television show Nickelodeon Guts is a competition series for "action sports," and it is hosted by the actor and comedian Mike O'Malley. British actress Moira "Mo" Quirk serves as the show's referee. Between the years 1992 and 1995, the series could be seen on the cable television network known as Nickelodeon. Young athletes compete in a variety of athletic competitions in a set called "Extreme Arena," which was erected on Sound Stage 21 at Universal Studios Florida. The first episode of Guts was broadcast on Nickelodeon on January 15, 1996, and it aired there until February 28, 1999. After that, the reruns moved to Nickelodeon GAS, where they remained until the network went off the air on December 31, 2007. Since the first of the year 2008, it has been available on TeenNick for viewing in reruns on occasion.
