Mr. Belvedere

The American sitcom known as Mr. Belvedere debuted on ABC on March 15, 1985, and ran until July 8, 1990. The character of Lynn Aloysius Belvedere, who first appeared in Gwen Davenport's novel Belvedere, which was published in 1947 and then made into the film Sitting Pretty in1948, serves as the inspiration for this series. The eponymous character of the sitcom is played by Christopher Hewett, who accepts a position as a housekeeper with an American family whose patriarch, George Owens, is portrayed on the show by Bob Uecker.
