Moose TV
In the 2007-2008 television season, Moose TV was a Canadian sitcom that aired on Showcase. Adam Beach portrays George Keeshig, a Cree from Moose, Quebec, who comes home after a decade living in Toronto to head the local community television station in the fictional northern Quebec village. Billy Merasty and Diane Flacks round out the cast. Gary Farmer and Jennifer Podemski also appear. Paul Quarrington is the show's chief writer. Directed by Tim Southam, the show had a solid ensemble cast. Produced in Canada by Rezolution Pictures for Showcase, the show won the Canadian Film and Television Producers Association's 2008 Indie Award for Best Comedy Series for its efforts.
