Heo Yeon Woo, who is 13 and the daughter of a high-ranking official, goes with her mother to the royal palace to celebrate her brother Heo Yeom's success on the civil service exam. By coincidence, she meets Crown Prince Lee Hwon. They fall in love, and Yeon Woo is chosen to be Crown Princess of Joseon.
