Merlin
Merlin is a miniseries that first aired on TV in 1998. It tells the story of King Arthur from the wizard Merlin's point of view. Sam Neill plays the title role in a story about the rise and fall of Camelot and the part of Britain's legendary history that came before it. The movie is different from other versions of the legend, especially because it adds new characters like Queen Mab and keeps Merlin around for all of King Arthur's rule over Britain. In 2006, a sequel came out called Merlin's Apprentice, which had less to do with traditional Arthurian legend.
