Men Behaving Badly

Simon Nye is the creator and writer of the British sitcom Men Behaving Badly. The story revolves around Gary Strang, Dermot Povey, and Tony Smart, Gary's roommates. In 1992, ITV aired it for the first time. A total of six series, a Christmas special, and three feature-length "last orders" were produced. Cerne Abbas giant was the final location for season six's closing scene, which was shot in and near Ealing, west London. It is implied, however, that the setting is in South London, and Surrey is frequently referenced. First two series were co-produced by Thames Television with Hartswood Films for ITV. They also helped with the BBC's production of the series' third and subsequent seasons. Men Behaving Badly was a huge hit once it was relocated to a post-watershed time period on BBC1. At BBC Television's 60th anniversary celebrations in 1996, it was chosen the best sitcom in the BBC's history. In 2004, BBC2 commissioned a vote to find the best British sitcoms, and it placed in sixteenth place. In addition, the Comedy Awards named it the finest ITV comedy, and the National Television Award for Situation Comedy was the first ever given out.
