Max Headroom
Max Headroom is a British-produced satirical science fiction TV series that ran on ABC from March 1987 to May 1988. The series is based on the Channel 4 pilot Max Headroom: 20 Minutes into the Future. Due to its locale, US-heavy cast, and ABC airing, the sitcom is sometimes mistaken for an American production. Cinemax showed the UK pilot followed by The Max Headroom Show highlights for six weeks. ABC liked the pilot and requested Chrysalis/Lakeside to produce the series. The show aired six episodes in its first season and eight in its second.
