Magic City

Magic City is a film that takes place in 1959 in Miami, Florida, and chronicles the story of Ike Evans, the proprietor of Miami's most famous hotel, the Miramar Playa. The film takes place shortly after the Cuban Revolution. In order for Evans to maintain the prosperity of his opulent enterprise, he is compelled to strike a doomed agreement with the head of the Miami gang, Ben Diamond.
