Lexx
Lexx is a science fiction/fantasy television series that chronicles the exploits of a mismatched crew onboard the organic spaceship Lexx. They traverse two universes and encounter planets, including an Earth parody. The series is a co-production between Canada and Germany, with funding from Britain's Channel 5. In January of2000, the Sci Fi Channel purchased the series from Salter Street Films and began screening Season 2 episodes for the United States audience. Salter Street Films co-produced Lexx, which was subsequently acquired by Alliance Atlantis. Lexx broadcast on the Showcase network, which is owned by Alliance Atlantis, in Canada. Additional filming took place on site in Iceland, Bangkok, and Namibia in addition to Halifax and Berlin.
