They find a magical book that releases a deity named Xandra when Donald Duck, José Carioca the parrot, and Panchito Gonzalez, the rooster, inherit a cabana from their great-grandfather Clinton Coot at the New Quackmore Institute.. Three Caballeros—Donald, José, and Panchito—were once a legendary trio of adventurers who set out to stop the wicked sorcerer Lord Felldrake from enslaving the globe with his magical staff. Felldrake's descendent, Baron Von Sheldgoose, the corrupt President of the New Quackmore Institute, discovers the staff carrying Felldrake's remains.. They must become heroes in order to preserve the planet as Sheldgoose attempts to resurrect Felldrake.
