Kidnapped
David McCallum plays rebellious Alan Breck Stewart in this HTV and Tele-Munchen co-production. Bill Simpson, Patrick Allen, Andrew Keir, Patrick Magee, and Frank Windsor also star. When young David Balfour arrives at his uncle's austere Scottish house to claim his inheritance, he is murdered and sold as a slave in the colonies. Luckily for the boy, he befriends Alan Breck Stewart, who is on the run following Culloden. When a ship's captain tries to kill Breck for his money, the two escape and head to Edinburgh, escaping Redcoats.
