Since moving to the city of Arcadia with her family, Joan Girardi's behavior has been more than a bit peculiar. No one is aware that the young person is being instructed to carry out certain activities after being approached by a number of individuals who identify themselves as God. Joan is hesitant to obey God's enigmatic directions since she is unsure of what God wants and whether or not she is even sane. However, she does so in an effort to maintain a life that is considered "normal" for a teenager.
