Jake 2.0 is a science fiction television series that was produced in the United States and first shown in 2003 on the UPN. As a result of the low ratings, the series was terminated on January 14, 2004, and as a result, four episodes were never shown in the United States. Sky1 was the channel that broadcast each of the episodes in the United Kingdom. After that, the series was shown on HDNet and the Sci Fi Channel as part of syndication. The main character of the series is a guy named Jake Foley, a computer expert who works for the National Security Agency of the United States government. Jake became unintentionally infected with nanobots, which granted him superhuman abilities. The fact that he can manipulate technology with his brain makes him, in the words of the show's introduction, "the ultimate human upgrade."
