I (Almost) Got Away With It

I (Almost) Got Away With It is a documentary television series that airs in the United States on the television network Investigation Discovery. The first episode of the series aired on January 12th, 2010. The episodes in the series are based on true accounts of individuals who committed crimes, then made attempts to evade arrest, but were ultimately apprehended. The fugitives commit a variety of crimes while they are on the run, including robbing gas stations and hijacking Crystal Gayle's tour bus. Additionally, both the first and second seasons are available to watch on Netflix. Treasure Island, which is located in San Francisco and sits in the middle of San Francisco Bay, is where many of the outdoor sequences for this series were shot.
