How to Be a Gentleman

How to Be a Gentleman is a comedy based on the same-named book. It is about an unlikely friendship between a traditional, refined writer and an untraditional personal trainer. Andrew Carlson, played by David Hornsby, is an etiquette columnist whose devotion to ideals from a more civilized time has led to a life separate from modern society. Bert Lansing, played by Kevin Dillon, is a reformed "bad boy" from Andrew's past who inherited a fitness center but can still be rude, loud, and sloppy. Andrew's editor, Jerry (Dave Foley), tells him to add a modern, sexy twist to his column or he'll be fired. So, he hires Bert as a life coach so he can learn to be less of a "gentle man" and more of a "real man."
